Born and raised on Long Island, NY - My wife and I moved to Florida about five years ago so she could pursue her Ph.D (she's almost done!). We've been happily wedded for nearly ten years, and while we don't have any little ones scampering about (yet) we do have a really sweet cat named Dolce (which is Italian for.... sweet).
Besides geek things like computers and gadgets, I also enjoy biking, softball, kayaking, basketball (even though I'm terrible at it), and just the general enjoyment of being outdoors (in the shade). I've also done snorkeling, scuba diving, and jumped from a perfectly good airplane. My wife and I are also big fans of animal welfare and have been volunteer foster parents for the Broward County Humane Society for a couple of years now.
My listening tastes trend mostly to Pandora radio stations and playlists - stuff like symphonic, spa radio, deep relaxation, piano, alternative/indie rock, and personalized stations like Beck Radio and Radiohead Radio. Pretty much the only sounds my ears question are country, hip-hop, and most bubblegum pop. I don't really watch much TV outside of sports - I'd rather be geeking out online, or reading a book.
