About Me
Hi, my name is Michael Forbes. I've been a professional web designer and developer since 1998.. which is ancient in computer years. My specialty is front-end development including javascript and ajax, but I am also proficient in back-end and database programming as well. Oh yeah, I am also a designer - I even have a college diploma that says so!
When I'm not cursing at Internet Explorer, or otherwise occupied plying my trade, I am a foster parent to incoming puppies and kittens for the Broward County Humane Society. I also like to do yoga and martial arts, and enjoy the outdoors and observing the local wildlife with my wife.
About this Site
The main purpose of this site is to showcase my experience and capabilities for anyone who is interested in such things. It is also my goal to use this site as a means to present information relevant to web design and development from the perspective of someone who has had a wide variety of different experiences. Finally, I hope to use this location to help bring awareness and distribution to any libraries, plugins, etc. I may happen to write during the course of time.

These bits of code allowed me to both reach further in my creativity, and also greatly reduce development time in bringing this iteration of my site online.
