Audiobook Update: Damnation

UPDATE: Damnation is now available for pre-order on Audible!

UPDATE 2: Contrary to the original post below, I’ve decided to delay the Sheriff audiobooks until January.

I don’t write many posts to this blog. Most of the time, I prefer to let my writing speak for itself. In this case, I wanted to give you all an update on the status of Damnation in audiobook format.

The last book in the Forgotten Vengeance trilogy was scheduled for April. Unfortunately, R.C. Bray caught COVID at the end of last year and fell way behind schedule. As a result, Damnation is delayed until DECEMBER of this year. Another long wait, I know, but we’re all doing the best we can.

The publisher has promised me a pre-order link ASAP. I will put it up here once I have it.

In the meantime, I’ve recently published Forgotten Starship 5, Evolve, which contains a couple of references to the events in Damnation (because I expected Damnation to be published this month). If you’re following that series, please use your discretion based on your tolerance of potential spoilers. You can optionally choose to read Damnation now and listen later. Click here to pick up the book if you want to go that route.

The Sheriff is also coming before December, and follows the events in Damnation. The references to the series are vague, but they do exist - especially with regard to Hayden’s characterization post-Vengeance.

I tried to time everything for the original release date. The problem now is that I’ve paid for all of these audiobooks to be produced, and I can’t recoup any of the costs until I put them up for sale. I’m not independently wealthy.

Again, we’re all doing the best we can.

Thank you for your understanding.

Cheers,
Michael.
